Our History
Insignia Signs & Display Group Limited started out its journey as The Sign Factory in 1993, located in Parnell Street, Dublin 1. This is where the business established its reputation for excellence and began its long-standing relationships with Ireland’s Top Construction companies.
In 2008, Our Co-Founder Richard White retired, and in June 2009 his son Jonathan transformed The Sign Factory into Insignia Signs & Display based in Harold’s Cross. From there Insignia continued to build on the foundations of the business and entered the Vehicle Wrapping market through its taxiwrap.ie and wrap.ie businesses.


Growth and Expansion

Since 2009, Insignia has grown from strength to strength, moving to a larger premises in Ballymount to adapt to the latest technology and expanding its capabilities to manage the increased demand for our business.
In 2015, Insignia expanded into the UK market with a specific focus on Construction and Safety signage as well as Vehicle branding.

A Few Facts About Insignia
This year we are celebrating our 30th Birthday. Insignia is a Family-Run Business established in 1993. We have been a preferred supplier of Construction for many years, over 50% Construction signs in Ireland are produced by Insignia.
We are committed to sustainability and since February 2023 ALL our signs are 100% RECYCLABLE. We champion a culture of Diversity & Inclusion, over 30% workforce are female, and One Third of our Management Team is Female.
